How to Connect External Storage, Mount Third-Party Cloud Drives, and Local Network Shared Storage?



Connect External Storage


1. Connect the Device

Connect the external storage device to the USB port of Cyber Cloud.


2. Add External Storage

Method 1:

Go to Settings → Storage Pool → External Storage → Add External Storage.



Method 2:

Right-click on the desktop and select "Open in File Manager", or directly click the folder icon at the bottom → In the left sidebar, click "Add External Storage" .




[Mobile]


(1) Open the Cyber Cloud Space app homepage, go to "Shortcuts" → "All Apps" → "File Manager".


(2) Click "Cyber Cloud" at the top of the screen.


(3) Find the "External Storage" option, enter the device space labeled "USB*"**, and start using the external storage.




Local Network Shared Storage


*Connect external devices via the Samba protocol.


NAS devices connected to the local network can also support external storage devices using the Samba protocol. This allows access to storage devices within the same local network as the NAS, both internally and externally, via Cyber Cloud.


How to operate:


Enter the device’s host IP address, username, and password to mount it as external storage for the NAS.
